Nevada e-bike regulations
Nevada adopted the three-class electric bicycle framework via SB 383 (2021), codified in NRS Chapter 484B. Electric bicycles with motors up to 750 watts are classified as Class 1, 2, or 3 and are generally treated like traditional bicycles, subject to labeling and equipment requirements.

Nevada regulates electric bicycles under its state vehicle code. Statewide statutes below set the baseline for every county, city and school district in Nevada. Local governments may adopt stricter rules for trails, sidewalks, beaches and campus property.

"Electric bicycle" defined
NRS 484B.017
Defines electric bicycle as a two- or three-wheeled device with fully operable pedals, a seat, and an electric motor producing not more than 750 watts, classified into Class 1, 2, or 3 based on assist type and top speed.
"Electric bicycle" means a device upon which a person may ride, having two or three wheels, or every such device generally recognized as a bicycle that has fully operable pedals and is propelled by a small electric engine which produces not more than 1 gross brake horsepower and which produces not more than 750 watts final output.Nevada LegislatureElectric bicycle labeling and equipment requirements
