Kansas e-bike regulations
Kansas defines electric-assisted bicycles in K.S.A. 8-1489 using the national three-class model (motor of 750 watts or less; Class 1 and 2 assisted up to 20 mph, Class 3 up to 28 mph). E-bikes are generally subject to the same traffic rules as bicycles under K.S.A. 8-1485 et seq.
